you know, i must say, this piece really does interest me. first of all, i have a bit of a different taste in photography. i like unique things. things you dont see everyday. things like when people take a general concept and twist it. things that would usually be considered "bad" in photography. thats what i like. what i like about this one is that theres really isnt any gray. its strictly black and white. a lot of contrast. i like it! ha.
- my english is horrible i know (i'm only a little girl from germany ) - but i want to comment this pic - it's not as unique as other photos are (nevertheless nice) - but because it's from YOU i think it's awesome for a lot of people... - ok...that's all - maybe i hear back from you (i hope so... but i don't think so)
Really great, and I was hoping by maybe putting a reminder here on a dA that it would be easier to contact you, its crazy how many comments you get, hope you might actually see this one, and I would really like feed back on the idea! and if you have no idea of what I'm talking about you haven't read my comment yet, so its OK, I hope we get a chance to talk about it more, and sorry about spamming this picture, people haven't comment on this 24-7 like Myspace, but the picture is really good, great lighting, reminds me of a candid shot, perfect place perfect time. Hope to hear back from you Alex, haha, thanks! -Jesse Rosales
well this is different. great, though. i like this better than your evryday portrait. do u think about your shots (that aren't portraits)before you take them, or do you take them on impulse? i'd be interested to know.
With the right side of the photo being very busy compared to the one at the left side, now that's a very nice angle. Not really empty but not that busy. Nice composition. Though in my opinion the title doesn't really suit the photo, but anyways, nice shot!
btw alex, im a writer and one of my books has a girl called Raven in it, and she's part of a cross homosapien-avian (i hope i spelt that right) race, and this photo just kind of clicked in with the image of the book i have...
with the title across the left-hand upper corner and maybe a faded double exposure of the model's face across the lower part of the tree...(and i hope i phrased that right...)
let me know if i could use it, i'll certainly try and let you know if the publishers accept it. this may be for a few months yet though...
think over it. leave a comment on my page if you're interested.
